Our Simple Mission

We serve the Western Slope communities of Grand Junction
by providing goal-directed animal assisted therapy.

What is AAT?

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is a goal-directed intervention that includes an animal as part of the treatment. Interventions include: EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Short Term Brief Therapy.

Who we serve

At Animal Assisted Therapy of the Western Slope, we work primarily with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and loss, or who are struggling with behavior challenges.
